Dr. Yu is an accomplished professional with 15+ years of experience in Operations Research modeling within the aviation industry. As the recipient of the prestigious Dorothy Hopkins Research Scholarship, acknowledging his outstanding contributions, Dr. Yu brings a wealth of expertise in optimization algorithms and theories, enriched by extensive R&D experience across multiple industries, including energy, aviation, and finance. With four international journal publications and notable presentations at the INFORMS International Operations Research Optimization Annual Summit, Dr. Yu is recognized for his significant contributions to the field. Holding a Doctorate degree in Operations Research from the University of Edinburgh, Dr. Yu has also played a vital role in the development of the linear programming software CLP of COIN-OR, showcasing his commitment to advancing operational research and optimization globally.
